About me

I pour my heart into every song, hoping to create music that truly resonates with the soul. Naturally, I find myself drawn to Love, for I believe it is the most beautiful and transformative power we possess. Alongside these tender melodies, I also reach out through my lyrics to explore the deeper, often heavier chapters of our shared human story—speaking softly on the heartache of war, our duty to protect this precious earth, and the quiet struggles of mental health. I strive to offer a compassionate voice regarding the complexities of our modern world and the importance of holding one another with kindness, tolerance, and integrity.

While I hope you find the rhythms catchy and the melodies easy to hold onto, it is the heart within the words that I am most humbled to share with you.

Behind the songs

The story, one track at a time

Track 01

Scrolling

I wanted every song on the latest album to mean something. This song explores the dangers to us all of Doom Scrolling. Scrolling fundamentally rewires human cognition, trading our capacity for deep, sustained thought for cheap, algorithmic dopamine. It exploits our evolutionary craving for novelty, trapping individuals in a state of passive consumption. It destroys our attention spans and erodes the mental quiet necessary for creativity. We inevitably become isolated while we miss out on lived experiences. I believe if we carry on our society will become irrevocably damaged

Track 02

Gorgeous

I wrote this funky, upbeat track for my niece when she was struggling with the toxic side of social media. Seeing the curated, seemingly perfect lives of others left her feeling isolated—a situation made worse by a narcissistic friend group that turned people against each other. I wanted to give her a song to dance to, something to get the endorphins moving and shake off that negativity. The heart of the track is a line I absolutely stand by: "Those that post the most, they need to love the most."

Track 03

Leave It On the Counter

A voicemail my friend left and never called about. I looped it until it became a melody, then stepped back and let the silence do the talking.
